RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Martin Grenier.
Grenier spent the last two seasons serving time in the various and infamous penalty boxes of the LNAH. He doesn't figure to see any NHL ice time moving forward.
Grenierís NHL career is more than likely over, as the 31-year-old defenseman has not seen any minutes in the big leagues since the 2006-07 season. He's shown few signs of improvement in the KHL and LNAH in recent years.
Grenier has played the last two years in the KHL racking up a ton of PIMs, but not much else.
Big and tough defender will play in the AHL this season.
If you're interested in Penalty minutes, Grenier is your man. However unless Martin makes the team out of camp, he'll be recording his PIMs on the Rangers' AHL affiliate. In 50 games for the Manitoba Moose and Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) last season, the physical Grenier registered five goals, six assists and 250 PIMs.
