RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013-14

There was no outlook written for Josh Gratton.

2008-09

Gratton is a fourth line enforcer therefore offensive production is not his strong suit. The Preds signed him to a contract to possibly fill that role with the team in 2008-09. Gratton has 67 NHL games of experience and 237 penalty minutes to go with it.

2007-08

Josh Gratton is a fourth line enforcer for the Phoenix Coyotes therefore offensive production is not his strong suit. While he played in the OHL, he had solid offensive numbers, but since arriving in the AHL and now the NHL, those numbers have not translated to the NHL game. Even though he has worked on his game in the off season, any offense he brings to the Coyotes would be considered a bonus.

2006-07

Gratton is the type of player fantasy owners have on their roster for one reason - penalty minutes. If he plays any significant minutes for the Coyotes, expect him to be in the box for half of them.
