Chris Minard

Minard has played 35 career NHL games, scoring two goals and adding three assists. He will provide the Oilers some depth at Springfield of the AHL.

Minard is an offensive-minded center who scored 11 playoff goals in 23 games for the Baby Pens last year. He'll turn 27 in the fall and time is running out on his prospects. Minard played in parts of 15 games for the Penguins, but failed to impress. He scored just one goal and one assist in his time with Pittsburgh.
