Kevyn Adams

Adams will turn 32 shortly after Opening Night, and has probably established his presumptive level of fantasy productivity. We expect something similar to his past three campaigns, around 20 points, with none of those on the power play. He centers Carolina's checking line and spends a good deal of time on the penalty kill, so he might bag a shorthanded goal or two.

Adams deserves a spot on Carolina's roster, but not on yours. In a good year, he may tally 25 points or so, not enough to make the radar at the center position in virtually any draft.
