Past Fantasy Outlooks
This player will have no fantasy value in 2013-14 and can be ignored in all formats.
Rechlicz signed a one-year deal with the Coyotes in July of 2012 and will bring size and physicality as an enforcer for the organization. He's more likely to start the year in Portland, but could be on the short list of depth call-ups given his experience with both the Islanders and Capitals.
Rechlicz has played 23 games with the Isles over the past two seasons, amassing a grand total of one assist. He also has 95 PIMs during that time, so one can guess where his value lies. When they Islanders feel they are a little short on toughness they will give him a call, otherwise he is destined for another season in the AHL.
The Islanders have been making noise about playing Rechlicz on the fourth line with Trevor Gillies and Zenon Konopka. In other words, a pure bruising line that can't score but will hit anything that moves.
Rechlicz's value comes from his fists, but he does not see enough game action to warrant consideration for your fantasy team. He plays mainly for Bridgeport, but gets called up when the Isles want a little added toughness in the lineup.
