RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

There was no outlook written for Olivier Fortier.

Fortier started the 2012-13 season with Hamilton of the AHL before getting reassigned to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. He had two points and was minus-1 in 32 games. He's not a gifted scorer, but the organization was hoping for more from the young center.

Fortier came back from a shoulder injury that wiped out most of this 2009-10 season to see mostly third- and fourth-line duty with AHL Hamilton, showing nice hustle and responsible defense. He'll return to Hamilton for what is the last year of his current three-year contract. He's not an answer as a goal-scorer for the organization, but projects to be a bottom six grinder.
