RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2016-17

There was no outlook written for Jean-Francois Berube.

2012-13

Berube made the jump from the QMJHL to the ECHL last year and handled himself pretty well (17-13-4, 2.87 GAA, .907 save percentage) in a platoon. Jonathan Quick is firmly entrenched in Los Angeles, but the 21-year-old has lots of development left before that becomes an issue. He'll head back to the ECHL again this year.

2011-12

Berube was once again the primary backstop for the Montreal Juniors in the QMJHL, going 32-7-8 with three shutouts in 50 starts. A move up to the ECHL isn't out of the question after spending the last three years in the QMJHL. He's a long way away from helping the Kings though.
