Barrasso, who backstopped the Penguins to consecutive Stanley Cup titles in 1991 and 1992, on Wednesday signed and subsequently retired as a Penguin.
ANALYSIS
Barrasso played for a number of teams, but he'll be remembered best for his two Cups with the high-powered Pens teams of the early '90s, and his rookie year with the Sabres in 1983-84, where he won the Calder and Vezina Trophies in the same season. He retires with a career record of 369-277-86, ranking 12th all-time in wins, along with a 3.24 goals-against average and 38 shutouts in 777 games.
