Quailer was traded to the Kings on Thursday in exchange for prospect Robert Czarnik, Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times reports.

ANALYSIS
At 6-foot-4 and 209 pounds, Quailer brings ample size on the wing and will continue to hone his development in the minors with Manchester. Quailer had five points and a plus-7 rating in 12 games with AHL Hamilton in the Habs' system.

2013 Fantasy Outlook

Quailer signed a two-year deal with Montreal, who drafted him in 2008, following his graduation from Northeastern University in 2012. He spent the entire 2012-13 season with the Hamilton Bulldogs, Montreal's affiliate in the AHL, and scored 10 points (6 goals, 4 points) in 64 games. He has good size and enough skill to develop into a power forward, but he'll need to put it together at Hamilton before he gets an opportunity with Montreal.
