RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

There was no outlook written for Dalton Thrower.

Thrower had 39 points (12 goals, 27 assists) in 42 games with the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League, but also had an ankle injury that forced him to miss the end of the regular season and the playoffs. His junior career is over, and Thrower is expected to line up on the blue line for Hamilton of the American Hockey League.

Thrower, 19, had 27 points (6 goals, 21 assists) for the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL. He's a mix of offense/defense with a lot of willingness to mix it up with opponents. His size isn't what you'd expect from an overly physical defenseman, but Thrower brings that style every game. He has one season of junior eligibility left and had his rights acquired by Vancouver of the WHL.
