RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014-15

There was no outlook written for Alexandre Mallet.

2012-13

The Canucks selected Mallet with the 57th overall pick of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Mallet came out of nowhere in 2011-12 to post 81 points (34 G, 47 A) in 68 games for Rimouski of the QMJHL. Hes often praised for his grit and high-energy levels on the ice, making him an ideal two-way center, but Mallet has also displayed good enough hands and vision to have possible top-six upside. Consider him another interesting name to place on your radar when monitoring first-time AHL players.
