In his first year as a pro, Konan was a minus-eight in 45 games in the AHL. He did get a brief call-up at the end of the season, but only when the Flyers lost several defensemen due to injury. It's hard to imagine him contributing much in the NHL this year, and he still needs to prove himself to warrant a pick in a keeper league.
