RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Eto'o got another start in the midfield and played a full 90 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Manchester City.

It's been very surprising how much playing time Everton have been giving the veteran this season. With that said, Eto'o has been very effective and was again today getting off three shots. Look for him to continue to see extensive playing time as he has really found a significant role under manager Roberto Martinez.

Eto'o got another start in the midfield in the 2-1 loss to Tottenham Sunday and played for 61 minutes before being substituted for Leon Osman.

It's unclear Eto'o's role at this point as he has been used as a starter in the midfield and a striker off the bench, but he has proven to be a valuable weapon for coach Roberto Martinez. With the years on his legs, it's hard to imagine he'll continue to start unless they plan on using early subs on him all season long. Everton host Hull City Wednesday, so keep an eye the starting XI to see if Eto'o cracks the starting lineup yet again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Eto'o came on as a sub and recorded the assist on Leon Osman's match-winner in Saturday's 2-1 win over West Ham.

Eto'o has been quite the spark plug for the Toffees and after starting three matches in a row, he was still effective coming off the bench. If anything were to happen to Romelu Lukaku, Eto'o would be the likely starting striker.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Eto'o got a start in the midfield in the 1-1 draw to Sunderland Sunday.

Eto'o has now made three consecutive starts and it appears he's found his way into the weekly starting XI at midfield. The midfield is a relatively new position for Eto'o, so he may be a good source of assist rather then goals going forward. Let's see what happens when Mirallas comes back from injury in a couple weeks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Eto'o turned back the clock Sunday recording two goals and playing a full 90 minutes in the 3-1 win over Burnley.

This may be the only game all season Eto'o plays a full 90 minutes, but it's a fantastic sign from the veteran. He is tough to use in fantasy because he doesn't play consistently, but he is a nice signing for Everton to take some of the load off Romelu Lukaku's shoulders. If they continue to start Lukaku and Eto'o together, the attack could become very dangerous.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Eto'o picked up a knock against Chelsea before the international break and he could be held out of Everton's match against West Brom on Saturday. "Samuel Eto'o got a little knock in the game against Chelsea at the moment he scored and we are going to be a little cautious," Everton manager Roberto Martinez said Friday.

Even when he is fit, Eto'o is not a consistent starter for the Blues, with Romelu Lukaku dominating the playing time up front.
