Cisse has terminated his contract with Russian side Kuban Krasnodar and agreed to a contact with Ligue 1 outfit Bastia, ESPN FC reports.

Cisse makes the move back to his native France in hopes of earning a place in Les Bleus' World Cup squad. The 32-year-old journeyman has previously played in Ligue 1 for Auxerre and Marseille, where he combined for 94 goals in 185 appearances.

Cisse will be leaving Queens Park Rangers on loan with Al Gharaf in Qatar until the end of the season, reports the Premier League.

Cisse scored six goals in eight matches since joining QPR. Manager Harry Redknapp made it clear that the forward was not part of his plans this season.

Cisse came in as a second half sub Saturday against Wigan and scored Queens Park Rangers' second goal in a 2-2 draw.

Cisse has been off to a poor start to the 2012-13 season, having scored only twice in 14 games, but if he gets hot he can score in bunches like when he found the back of the net six times in his first eight appearances for QPR after arriving from Lazio in January.

Cisse scored again for Queens Park Rangers in a 3-2 road loss against Manchester City.

In his eight Premier League appearances for QPR, Cisse scored a goal in six and received a red card in the other two.

In a game that had gone scoreless for 89 minutes, Cisse gave Queens Park Rangers the full three points when he scored against Stoke to put his team temporarily out of the relegation zone.

If Cisse had started the game instead of coming on at 51 minutes, maybe the game would not have been in doubt until the last seconds. Either way, if QPR stay in the EPL for next season it will surely come as no surprise if Cisse gets most of the credit.

Cisse scored Queens Park Rangers only goal in Sunday's 6-1 thrashing at Chelsea.

Four goals in six appearances is quite impressive, but Cisse could have scored more if he had not been suspended twice since joining QPR in January from Lazio.

Cisse tied Wednesday's game against Liverpool at two with four minutes to go, only to have Mark Hughes sub him out before Queens Park Rangers could claim victory in injury time.

Cisse has been absolutely sensational since joining QPR in the January transfer window, and now has scored in three times in his four appearance's for the London club.

Cisse scored the lone goal for QPR in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Bolton.

Cisse appeared to be offside, but the goal stood up in a match that was poorly officiated. QPR was denied a goal earlier on a ball that clearly went over the goal line. A huge six-point swing in the standings that now has QPR in the drop zone.
