Marchetti made three saves while conceding one in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Bolonga.

There was nothing Marchetti could have done on a free kick that was flicked on by Bologna’s Ibrahima Mbaye and easily finished by Flip Helander. Marchetti made a great save on Bologna’s Godfred Donsah that kept his squad down one. Marchetti’s next match is Sunday against Torino.

Marchetti made three saves while keeping a clean sheet in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Pescara.

Hardly the class of Serie A, Pescara has gotten off to a strong start this season and matched Lazio tit-for-tat in the opening hour; however, once the floodgates opened, it was all Lazio. This was the 33-year-old's first clean sheet of the season after keeping 11 last season in Serie A play. They travel to the San Siro to take on AC Milan next weekend.

Marchetti made three saves but also conceded a goal during Lazio's 1-1 draw against Chievo on Sunday.

The Italy international wasn't at his best in this game, but he remains one of the most reliable keepers in Serie A. He recorded 10 clean sheets in 29 league starts last season.

Marchetti made four saves, claimed one ball, and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Juventus.

Marchetti and Lazio held Juventus for over an hour, but allowed Sami Khedira to score the match winner in the 66th minute. He was able to make nice saves before and after the goal but was unable to get down for Khedira's low drive to the back post. Marchetti will have a chance to bounce back 11 September against Chievo.

Marchetti finished with three saves in Sunday's 4-3 win at Atalanta. The result was a bit disappointing after Lazio jumped to a three-goal lead and Marchetti was at fault for one of the goals, as well.

Lazio finished eighth in the table last season, but weren't really known for a great defense, allowing 52 goals. With Simone Inzaghi now in charge, it's hard to see the defense improving much with the manager focused on attacking in the 4-3-3.

Marchetti didn't make an appearance for Italy during Euro 2016 remaining with 11 caps. Italy were eliminated dramatically after a quarterfinals penalty shoot-out loss to Germany.

Marchetti had a solid campaign with Lazio last season. The 33-year-old keeper missed some games, though, he had some fantasy production hauling in 10 clean sheets and 76 saves in 29 Serie A starts.

Marchetti had eight saves including two penalty shots from Jerry Mbakogu as Lazio won 3-1 at Carpi.

Marchetti will be able to eat for free in Palermo if he wants. His penalty kick saves prevented Carpi from getting a point from this match. Palermo, which drew 0-0 with Fiorentina, moves one point ahead with one match left. One of the two will drop to Serie B.
