Saborio was suspended by the team for Wednesday's match against the Red Bulls, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.

Saborio missed last weekend's match due to a personal issue, but the team announced that whatever the issue was did not get resolved, and Saborio did not return on time, which prompted the suspension. He is on Costa Rica's Gold Cup roster, so he could be away for most of July, leaving Devon Sandoval to continue to start in his absence.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Saborio (personal) is not expected to rejoin Real until after his stint with Costa Rica in the CONCACAF Gold Cup according to head coach Jeff Cassar, Christopher Kamrani of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Saborio missed Sunday's game against Kansas City due to a personal matter and it appears that his personal duties will continue to leave him unavailable for Real leading up to the Gold Cup which occupies the majority of July. Depending on how far Costa Rica advances, Devon Sandoval will take over Saborio's spot in the starting XI for the better part of the next five weeks.

Saborio (international duty) was available for Tuesday's U.S. Open Cup win over Seattle Sounders 2.

Saborio was previously competing abroad for Costa Rica but has since rejoined his club squad and is expected to be available for Sunday's MLS match against Sporting KC. However, Saborio will likely depart RSL yet again for Costa Rica's upcoming match on June 27, making him very doubtful for the June 24 game against the Red Bulls.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Saborio has been called up for international duty with Costa Rica.

Saborio is in danger of missing MLS action through the end of June with Costa Rica's upcoming matches on June 11 and June 27. There's a possibility that he'll rejoin Salt Lake during that window between matches, but as for now Saborio should be considered out of MLS action until further notice.

Saborio suffered a broken metatarsal and he will not play for Costa Rica in the World Cup, Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated reports.

Saborio has six goals and two assists through 10 games this season for Real Salt Lake, but the injury will now keep him out for three-to-four months, according to Teletica.com. Saborio was expected to be a big part of the Costa Rica attack in Brazil, and their chances of getting out of a very tough Group D just got even tougher.

Saborio opened the scoring in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Los Angeles.

Saborio is as good as it gets at the forward position in Fantasy MLS. Beware for the immediate future however, as Saborio was involved in an ugly incident that may well see him suspended for a game or two.
