Gignac enjoyed the most prolific season of his professional career in 2014-15 as he tallied 23 goals and two assists in all competitions.

The 29-year-old could move on in search of Champions League football after a fourth-place finish from Marseille, who could be ready to cash in on his big season with several clubs interested in the Frenchman. Gignac's future is far from certain at this point, but he is likely to command a hefty transfer fee if he does move on.

Gignac came off the bench to score his 15th Ligue 1 goal of the season in the 63rd minute of Marseille's 3-2 loss to Caen on Friday.

Gignac's score put the hosts up 2-1, but Caen answered back in the 70th and 87th minutes to steal all three points. The goal was just his second in 2015, but his total of 15 puts him only behind Alexandre Lacazette's 21 in all of France.
