Gignac scored his fifth goal of the season in Saturday's late 2-1 victory over Puebla.

Gignac found the back of the net in the 42nd minute, which places him third among the league's top scorers. He's been a consistent part of the the Tigres attack, and will continue to be for the remainder of the season. At this point, he's a threat to score every week and should always be in consideration for a fantasy spot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gignac had a banner day in Saturday's 4-2 win over Pachuca, landing two goals in seven attempts. He also assisted on another goal.

Since his transfer from Marseille, Gignac has been an integral part of the Tigres attack. This was, by far, his best week in his new kit, but going forward, Gignac should be a top-tier choice at forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gignac had five shots in Saturday's win over Chiapas, and the lone ball on goal secured the victory for Tigres.

Last season's leading scorer is off to a solid start again in the Torneo Apertura. This is his second goal in three starts for Tigres, and he again looks to be one of the team's driving forces on offense.

Gignac took four shots, with one off the post and one on target, in 18 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 2-1 Euro 2016 victory over Ireland that sent France to the quarterfinals.

Gignac came on with a vengeance and put a down pour of terror, including a fantastic strike that hit the crossbar, over the Irish in a blink of an eye. Gignac is pushing hard to take the starting spot over from Olivier Giroud, though, for as long as the latter continues his solid performance the former would continue having a reduced fantasy upside off the bench.

Gignac scored for the fourth consecutive match in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Tijuana.

The 30-year-old earned League MVP honors last season, and he has picked up right where he left off, with six goals in his first five this time around. Gignac has taken well to his move to Mexico and is seemingly a weekly goal threat at this point. Tigres will face Queretaro on Friday.

Gignac rattled off six shots and scored a crucial extra time goal in Tigres' playoff loss to Pumas on Sunday.

The Frenchman earned MVP honors in the Mexican league with 15 goals in 21 matches, and his strike nearly earned Tigres the trophy before Pumas leveled and won on penalties. Gignac has stated that he is happy to be playing in Mexico, and it remains to be seen if he will be snapped up for a loan move during the upcoming transfer window.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gignac is off to a fast start this season, with nine goals in 11 starts.

This quick start for Gignac is showing that hes continuing from where he left off last season. He has tested opposing goalkeepers this season with 49 shots, 22 of which were on target and he will likely continue in a starting role, looking to lead his team in goals this season if he can maintain this form.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gignac enjoyed the most prolific season of his professional career in 2014-15 as he tallied 23 goals and two assists in all competitions.

The 29-year-old could move on in search of Champions League football after a fourth-place finish from Marseille, who could be ready to cash in on his big season with several clubs interested in the Frenchman. Gignac's future is far from certain at this point, but he is likely to command a hefty transfer fee if he does move on.
