Walker (groin) has been ruled out of Monday's Premier League match against Sunderland, Spurs' official web site reports.

Walker was an unused substitute on March 16 against Arsenal, presumably due to injury, and he hasn't appeared in a Premier League match since March 8 against Chelsea. He will miss a great clean sheet opportunity Monday, and unfortunately still does not have clear timetable for a return.

Walker, who played in Thursday's Europa League match against Benfica, will have a late fitness test ahead of Sunday's Premier League match against Arsenal due to a groin injury, the Daily Star reports.

Tottenham are also missing Michael Dawson and Vlad Chiriches, so Walker could surely be used in the back.

Walker returned from a hip injury to start in midfield and play all 90 minutes of Tottenham's 0-4 loss to Chelsea on Saturday.

Walker was unable to play for England during last Wednesday's friendly with Denmark due to the hip issue, but he was never expected to be out for an extended period. Up next is another tough match against rivals Arsenal.

Walker (hip) will not be recovered in time to play with England against Denmark on Wednesday, reports the Daily Mail.

Walker sat out Saturday's match against Cardiff, and manager Time Sherwood said that he would not be ready to play for England on Wednesday. The defender is expected to return March 8th.

Walker had a solid game Sunday, providing the only assist in the match and helping to pick up a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Everton.

Walker and Danny Rose have made a deadly duo as attacking right and left backs for Spurs. It's very similar to how Gareth Bale started his career at Tottenham as a left back. It's key in fantasy soccer to use defenders who attack, to be sure not to limit the amount of fantasy points you can achieve. Expect Walker to continue to start and to possibly pick up another clean sheet Wednesday against Newcastle.

Walker took a shot that was knocked in by Chico for an own goal during Tottenham's 3-1 win over Swansea on Sunday.

Walker, who was seen on crutches after last weekend's match against Crystal Palace, was fit enough to start the match and play all 90 minutes. However, he gets no fantasy points for creating the goal, and lost out on a clean sheet thanks to a 78th minute strike from Wilfried Bony.

Walker, who came off in the 48th minute of Saturday's match against Crystal Palace with a calf injury, was walking with crutches but no walking boot after the match, according to Ben Pearce of the Tottenham and Wood Green Journal.

Walker continues to be a solid fantasy option this season, although he hasn't gotten points for a clean sheet in his last nine league matches. His removal in Saturday's match kept him from breaking that streak.
