Martin was available off the bench but remained unused sub in the home 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday.

Surprisingly, the starter was left on the bench. He missed a couple of games due to suspension and personal issues and hasn't played even a minute in November. Ryan Bennet has been starting in Martin's absence and probably his good run of form kept him on the field for the clash with the Gunners too. You can probably expect the Canaries to continue riding the hotter, and younger, legs of Bennet for the time being.

Alexis Sanchez has an incredible nine goals and two assists in his last five matches for club and country, and a matchup against Watford puts him into this week's Best XI.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Martin did not play Saturday against Chelsea because of a personal issue.

There weren't any additional details released by the team, so it's unclear if Martin's issue will keep him out any further.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Martin will miss Saturday Premier League game with Swansea due to suspension.

In the Scottish absence Ryan Bennett will probably pick up another start partnering with Sebastien Bassong at centre-back.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Martin was sent off in the 89-th minute but tallied eight clearances and an interception in a brave 2-1 loss to Manchester City on Saturday.

The Scottish made a brilliant save to a Man City shot on goal. Unfortunately for him he wasnít wearing the goalkeepersí gloves and that handling cost him his spot on the field and one more game of suspension. John Ruddy made a terrible mistake and left the goal chasing the dropped ball which caused the need for Martinís action after the shot that followed. Ryan Bennett would probably pick up another start during Martinís suspension next weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Martin scored a wonderful goal in the 61st minute of Norwich's 1-1 draw to Liverpool on Sunday.

The finish was spectacular for Martin, as he looked more like a striker than a center back. After a punched ball by Simon Mignolet, Martin simply chested the ball and than poked a volley in mid-air to finish upper-90 as smoothly as possible. The defender has very little fantasy upside as he won't be attacking much and wont get many clean sheets on Norwich, but he's deserved his due on this day. The crazy thing is that he has three goals, but he'll have trouble finishing the season with any more than five. In any case, Martin will look to keep the impressive stretch going against West Ham next Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Martin scored during the 28th minute of Norwich City's draw against Stoke City on Saturday.

Martin has now remarkably scored in back-to-back matches from his center back position. While that's definitely an unexpected development from the defender, Martin's early season returns have been fantastic. As the captain of the Canaries, Martin will now target earning his first clean sheet sooner than later.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Martin scored a goal on his only shot in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Sunderland.

Not known as much of a scorer, Martin opened the scoring on Saturday in the 26th minute, carefully slotting the ball into the corner off a rebound. With just two goals in 48 starts last season for the Canaries in the Championship, Martin likely won't become a heavy goal scorer this season either, though he does log heavy minutes and provides a steady presence in defense for the recently promoted side.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Martin was an unused substitute for Norwich City's loss to Fulham on Thursday.

Martin returned from an ankle injury that held him out the prior weekend. After being a fairly consistent starter, he has made one substitute appearance and stayed on the bench for the club's last three league matches.
