Herd did not play in last Sunday's Premier League match against Manchester United due to a facial injury sustained in training Saturday, the Birmingham Mail reports. He got a facial knock and it was too risky to play him."

Herd doesn't have a specific timetable for return, although he appears quite doubtful for Saturday's Premier League match against Stoke City.
