Lovren documented six clean sheets over 26 Premier League appearances during the 2014-15 season.

Lovren dealt with both groin and abdominal injuries that limited his availability over the course of the season but he was still able to make the third-most starts of Liverpool defenders with 22, behind Alberto Moreno (26) and Martin Skrtel (33). The 25-year-old is under contract for four more years at Anfield and is expected to see significant time in the starting XI next season as well.

Lovren (groin) was subbed onto the pitch at half during the 1-0 victory over Sunderland on Saturday.

Lovren gave the Reds an extra defender to sit on the 1-0 lead they had for almost the entire match. He had been dealing with a groin injury but that seems to be behind him after Saturday's 45-minute outing.
