Janmaat (groin) is in the starting lineup for Newcastle's Premier League match against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Janmaat was removed from last Saturday's match against Manchester City because of groin tightness, but manager John Carver confirmed Thursday that it was precautionary, and he'll slot back into the lineup with a very solid fantasy matchup.

Manager John Carver said Thursday that Janmaat (groin) is fit to face Aston Villa on Saturday.

Janmaat was removed from last Saturday's match against Manchester City due to the issue, but Carver confirmed that it was just precautionary in order to avoid making it worse. The news is excellent for fantasy owners, as Janmaat has been a very solid offensive producer this season and faces a decent clean sheet opportunity against a Villa side still trying to find any sort of offensive rhythm.

Newcastle manager John Carver said Janmaat's groin injury, which he suffered during Saturday's match against Manchester City, is not considered serious, and that Janmaat was removed for precautionary reasons, the Shields Gazette reports.

Janmaat has been an excellent replacement this season for Mathieu Debuchy, who was sold to Arsenal last summer. Only Everton's Leighton Baines has more assists as a defender in Premier League play this season than Janmaat.

Janmaat pulled out of international duty Monday due to a hamstring injury, the Associated Press reports.

Janmaat will miss two Euro 2016 qualifiers for the Netherlands against Kazakhstan and Iceland over the international break, though there is no indication that he will miss any Premier League time, which picks up Oct. 18 against Leicester City.

Janmaat was suffering from soreness going into the weekend, but managed to play the full 90 minutes of Newcastle's 0-1 loss to Stoke on Monday.

Janmaat recorded the only Toon shot on target in a match where Newcastle were stifled at nearly every attempt going forward. The Dutch right back likes to get forward and has settled into the Premier League fairly smoothly.

Janmaat scored the first Toon goal of the season with a 37th minute strike in Newcastle's 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Janmaat looked even more comfortable in the third match of his Premier league career. The Dutch right-back is good on the ball going forward and should be on all fantasy owner's radar with a slate of good defensive matchups coming up over the next five gameweeks.

Janmaat recorded his first clean sheet in Newcastle's 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday.

Janmaat managed three shots with one being on target, showing why he is a highly regarded Dutch import. After a rough first game against Manchester City, the 25-year-old looked more comfortable getting forward as he wasn't put under nearly as much pressure. Janmaat will continue to settle into the Premier League, with a good matchup next week against Crystal Palace at St. James' Park.

Janmaat played a full 90 minutes and picked up a yellow card in Newcastle's 0-2 loss to Manchester City on Sunday.

Janmaat had a tough time Sunday keeping up with the Manchester City attack. Luckily for the Dutch right-back this was one of the most difficult matchups he will see in the Premier League all season. After impressing during the World Cup, Janmaat will have plenty of time to adjust to the speed and physicality of the English game. With a run of favorable fixtures coming up, Janmaat could provide good value if his price is a bit depressed after this performance.
