Nani returned from a long-absence due to a hamstring injury for last weekend's match against West Ham, although he was an unused substitute. He as then not included in the 18 for Tuesday's Manchester derby.

Nani has not featured for United since December 7 against Newcastle and it is difficult to see where he fits in even when he does return to full fitness.

Nani (hamstring) returned to training this week and is quickly making his way back to fitness, ESPN FC reports. Manager David Moyes said "Nani is back. He had a really bad hamstring injury. But he is back and has trained. Hopefully we get him up to speed very quickly."

Moyes was not specific on when he expects Nani back, although it certainly sounds like he will not play this weekend against Liverpool. His next opportunity to feature after that will come on March 22 against West Ham, and then the Manchester derby on March 25.

Nani is expected to miss another month of action due to his hamstring injury. Manager David Moyes said "Nani has had a bad hamstring injury. He's getting closer now but I think it will be another month until he will be about ready to play."

Nani was rumored to be joining AC Milan during the winter transfer period, but the window closed without a move. As a result of his hamstring injury, it will be awhile before Nani sees the pitch again.

Inter Milan are reportedly interested in bringing Nani (hamstring) to the club on loan with the potential to make the move permanent, reports the Daily Mail.

While Juventus is also interested in the winger, Manchester united have so far avoided sending the player away from the club. Nani has been rumored to be close to exiting United since before David Moyes arrived, and he still remains on the sideline with a hamstring injury.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Nani (hamstring) is expected to leave Manchester United as manager David Moyes attempts to rebuild the squad for next season, according to the Daily Mail.

Nani continues to remain sidelined with a hamstring problem, making his last appearance for the club in November. His place on the wing has not been secure, even under former manager Alex Ferguson. As Moyes rebuilds the team, Nani would be one player with a high probability of being shown the exit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Nani continues to be forced to sit out due to his hamstring injury. Manager David Moyes said "Nani has got a hamstring injury which is probably going to keep him out for a while. It's a serious hamstring injury that he picked up in training.

Nani hasn't been a big contributor to the United attack this season, although maybe he's the missing piece (unlikely). Moyes has no reason to rush Nani back, so fantasy owners are advised to look elsewhere if considering the Portuguese international.

Nani will be out for a few weeks due to a hamstring injury, according to the BBC. Manager David Moyes said the injury was "a little bit worse than we thought."

Nani hasn't exactly been a consistent member of the United attack this year, appearing in only eight games so far, so this shouldn't effect many fantasy rosters.

Nani scored the fifth of Manchester United's five goals against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday, and played the full 90 minutes.

Nani started on the wing in one of United's most impressive performances so far this season. The team played well together, and Nani did his job along the wing, picking up a goal along the way to securing a spot in the knockout stages of the tournament.
