Djourou started in all four matches for Switzerland in Euro 2016. He recorded one assist, two clean sheets, three shots (one on target) and a yellow card on three fouls and takes his international tally to 63 caps and two goals. Switzerland finished 1-1 with Poland in regular and over-time of their Round of 16 clash Saturday but were knocked out of the finals after 5-4 penalty shoot-out.

Djourou was a fairly consistent starter for Hamburger last season. The 29-year-old center back, though, couldn't find much regular fantasy production tallying two goals, seven clean sheets, 44 tackles and six yellow and one red cards in 26 Bundesliga starts.

Djourou started and helped keep a clean sheet during Sunday's goalless draw with France.

Switzerland hung tough with a France squad that made a number of changes to the lineup, and while Djourou didn't make a huge statistical impact, he helped his side book a place in the next round. Djourou finishes the group stage having aided in a pair of clean sheets, with an assist to his name as well, and he will look to keep up his strong play in the first knockout phase versus the second-place finisher from Group C on Saturday.
