Boateng attempted five shots, three of which were on goal, in Las Palmas' 0-0 draw with Espanyol on Friday.

Although he did not score, Boateng's shot volume is a positive sign for fantasy owners. Boateng has now attempted 14 shots in six games played in which he has scored two goals. Boateng and Las Palmas play a stingy Villareal defense next.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boateng returned from his one match suspension on Saturday during the 2-2 draw to Osasuna.

Boateng had six shots, one of which was on target, three aerials won, and seven crosses in his return. After picking up a red card during the loss to Real Sociedad he returned to the pitch and put in a solid outing for the squad. Questions remain around his consistency of playing time as he's only gone the full 90 minutes in two out of his five match appearances.

Boateng picked up a red card in Las Palmas' 4-1 loss to Real Sociedad.

The team's leading scorer in 2016 will miss their next match and is next eligible to play October 1st against Osasuna.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boateng scored his second goal in as many games in a 5-1 win over Granada on Sunday.

Boateng has made quite the splash in his first La Liga season. Playing for a team where can have a featured role will certainly help the forward's numbers, as he only started one game for AC Milan last season and registered one goal. His fast start makes him a bullish fantasy asset, but his inconsistent playing time over the past three seasons leaves his long-term outlook difficult to predict.

Boateng netted a goal on one shot and added five clearances in the 4-2 win over Valencia on Monday.

Boateng found the back of the net in the first match of the season for Las Palmas before being substituted off in the 59th minute. The goal came off a diving header in his first appearance for the squad.

Boateng has returned to AC Milan after terminating his deal with Schalke, Football Italia reports.

This doesn't make much sense as there really is no place for Boateng on this roster.

Schalke terminated Boateng's contract Monday, the BBC reports.

The move is quite surprising given that Schalke still have two matches left in the season and continue to fight for a Europa League spot. Boateng has recently been linked with the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer, and while he'll likely take a small break, he could join as soon as this summer.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Boateng was suspended indefinitely by the Ghana FA on Thursday, and he will not compete against Portugal in their final group stage match, ESPN FC reports.

The FA said in the announcement that Boateng made insulting remarks at coach Kwesi Appiah during the team's training session, and it was clearly bad enough to send him home in a vital game against Portugal. Ghana need a win to have any shot at the knockout stage.
