Garcia signed a five-year contract with Zenit St. Petersburg on Wednesday after transferring from Manchester City.

Garcia was near the bottom of a stacked midfield depth chart at Manchester City, and he'll now get an opportunity for more playing time under Zenit manager Andre Villas-Boas, who spent time at Chelsea and Tottenham. As a defensive midfielder, he isn't likely to be a big producer in fantasy leagues.

Garcia (muscle injury) started and played all 90 minutes of Manchester City's 2-0 FA Cup win over Chelsea on Saturday. He took one shot, which was on goal, and picked up a yellow card.

Garcia has missed the past few weeks with a muscle injury, but trained recently and certainly looked good during his time on the pitch Saturday. He'll be needed in the upcoming days, with a Champions League match against FC Barcelona on tap.

Garcia (muscle injury) has been deemed fit for Sunday's FA Cup match against Chelsea, the Daily Mail reports.

Garcia has missed a few weeks with his injury, but a return this weekend is certainly a plus for a City side that will miss Sergio Aguero (hamstring) and Fernandinho (muscle injury).

Garcia (knee) will not play Saturday at Norwich City, nor Wednesday against Sunderland, but may be able to return for next Saturday's FA Cup match against Chelsea.

The timetable given by manager Manuel Pellegrini on Friday is encouraging, although Garcia's return to fitness doesn't necessarily skyrocket his fantasy value. He's been in-and-out of the City starting XI this season, and doesn't have nearly as much upside as some of his midfield-mates.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed Tuesday that Garcia will not play Tuesday against Tottenham.

Garcia has been in-and-out of the City starting XI this season and doesn't have nearly the fantasy upside of his fellow midfielders.

Garcia was booked in Manchester City's 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.

Referee Jon Moss showed Garcia his second yellow card since New Year's Day for a rash tackle. If Garcia picks up another three yellow cards before the end of the season he will receive a one match suspension.

Garcia found the back of the net in the 39th minute during Saturday's 3-1 victory over Newcastle United.

Garcia has scored only twice this season, with the first one coming all the way back on September 15 against Stoke City. He simply does not see the pitch nearly enough for fantasy owners to expect any kind of increase in production.

Garcia started for Manchester City in their 2-0 road win against Wigan on Wednesday, but he was substituted off the pitch in a straight switch with James Milner at 59 minutes.

Wednesday was Garcia's first Premier League appearance since November 11, and his first start since September 29.
