Aguero scored twice, once from the spot, on four shots (three on target) in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Stoke City.

Aguero missed from the spot twice in City's mid-week tie against Steaua (but still managed a hat trick), but showed no ill-effects psychologically, calmly converting from 12-yards in the 27th minute to give City the lead. He would double City's advantage in the 36th minute on a nice bit of link-up play with Kevin De Bruyne. He now has six goals in three matches in all comps and has firmly established himself as the best striker in the Premier League when healthy (just don't tell Zlatan Ibrahimovic that).

The Armband: FPL Gameweek 3 Captaincy Analysis

A brace last Friday and a match against Hull City this weekend aren't enough to put Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the top of Adam Zdroik's captaincy rankings. So who gets top billing for Gameweek 3?

Aguero converted a penalty kick just four minutes into Saturday's 2-1 win over Sunderland. The forward had six shots in total, but couldn't score from the run of play.

Aguero was a favorite of many to have the best game this weekend, but only scoring a PK is somewhat of a disappointment. That said, he's still Aguero and will get plenty of opportunities throughout the year to lead the league in scoring again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Aguero scored 29 goals and added a pair of assists in all competitions last season.

Aguero came out of the gates with just one goal in his first five matches, but he got things going and was the prolific scorer we have come to know for the remainder of the year, narrowly finishing second in the race for the Golden Boot despite missing eight matches. Aguero's 51 league goals over the last two seasons are the most of any player in the English top flight, and the expected arrival of talent along with new manager Pep Guardiola could boost his value even further after already finishing with the top ranked minutes-per-goal ratio last year.

Aguero scored on two shots (one on target) in Argentina's 5-0 drubbing of Panama on Friday.

Aguero has come off the bench in both of Argentina's Copa America matches, but with Gonzalo Higuain struggling to get on the scoresheet, the former could get a start in the final group stage match, which comes Tuesday against Bolivia.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Aguero scored a goal on four shots (one on target) in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

When fit, there is no better striker in the Premier League than Aguero, and he needed just eight minutes to put his stamp on the match. He now has scored in six consecutive Premier League matches and has 10 goals in his past nine. With 24 Premier League goals and 29 across all comps, the Argentine striker has been a bright spot for City up front when finding goals against top clubs has been an issue. However, he too is not immune to that problem, scoring just twice in seven matches against the rest of the top-five.

Aguero scored a goal on one shot (one on target) in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Stoke City.

Needing just 65 minutes of run before being preserved ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash, Aguero calmly slotted home a penalty in the 43rd minute and then was withdrawn after Kelechi Iheanacho made the advantage three. A lethal goal scorer in England, Aguero now has seven in his past five matches and 23 on the season, just one behind Harry Kane despite playing six fewer games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Aguero headed home one on two shots (both on target) in Tuesday's 1-1 draw to Newcastle.

Aguero seems unstoppable right now and he proved it with another signature finish. Despite clearly being in an offside position at the moment of Aleksandar Kolarov's cross, nothing can be taken away from his brilliant header that took City ahead. That's his 22nd goal on the season and his sixth in the last four games. He's a must-start right now with City in a high-speed race for the Champions League spots.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Aguero scored three goals on four shots (four on target) in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Chelsea.

While he may be behind Harry Kane on the leaderboard, few have been playing as well as Aguero of late. That's now three consecutive matches with goals for the Argentinian and seven goals in his past six matches to give him 21 in the Premier League. While he could certainly use help up front, he's shown an ability to take over a match by himself few others in the Premier League can.
