Jaaskelainen signed a one-year contract with West Ham on Wednesday, ESPN FC reports.

Jaaskelainen was the starting goalkeeper at the beginning of the last season but eventually lost his job to Adrian. Presumably both keepers will battle of the starting job next season, with Adrian as the likely front-runner.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jaaskelainen was credited with an assist on Mohamed Diame's seventh minute goal Wednesday against Fulham. Jaaskelainen was very busy against the Cottagers, making nine saves on the day, although he was beaten twice to take the loss.

Jaaskelainen briefly lost his starting job to Adrian, but it appears he's taken it back for the time being. His nine saves were a season-high, although he's given up five goals in his two games since returning to the starting XI, a weak outcome given the opponents (West Brom and Fulham).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jaaskelainen returned to the starting lineup for West Ham, making three saves, but allowing three goals against West Brom on Saturday.

Jaaskelainen ceded his starting job to Adrian in West Ham's last two Premier League matches, but after the latter gave up six goals in that span, the former was back between the posts Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jaaskelainen is not in the starting XI for West Ham's match against Arsenal on Thursday.

Jaaskelainen has been replaced by Adrien, who has a tough matchup after giving up three goals to Manchester United last weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jaaskelainen was on the bench for Saturday's match against Manchester United, with Adrian grabbing the start ahead of him.

Adrian started last Wednesday's Capital One Cup match against Tottenham, and apparently impressed enough to supplant Jaaskelainen. The Finnish goalkeeper wasn't a great fantasy option this year, and his benching certainly reduces his value even further.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jaaskelainen recorded a clean sheet against Fulham on Saturday despite not making a single save.

Jaaskelainen now has seven clean sheets on the season and has given up just one goal in his last four Premier League matches. Up next is another winnable game against Crystal Palace on Tuesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jaaskelainen made five saves en route to his fifth clean sheet of the season in West Ham's 0-0 draw with Swansea City on Sunday.

Jaaskelainen has been a useful option for fantasy owners, with five clean sheets in nine Premier League fixtures this year. The veteran keeper will face Aston Villa next time out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jaaskelainen was busy all night, making six saves and allowing three goals in West Ham's 1-3 loss to Manchester City on Saturday.

West Ham's porous defense did not do any favors for Jaaskelainen against a potent attack from Manchester City. The veteran keeper will have another tough test against Swansea City next time out.
