2013-14 Fantasy Basketball Outlook

Multiple injuries limited Lee to 35 games in the first two seasons of his NBA career, making this a make-or-break season of sorts for the 23-year-old. His contributions should be minimal in Phoenix. A long, athletic defender, the former UCLA product must stay healthy.

RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013-14

Subscribe now to see our 2013-14 outlook.

2012-13

Lee saw limited playing time during his rookie season as he suffered a torn meniscus in his knee before the season started and played just 19 games. Lee can run the floor well, but he needs to improve his shooting (just 39 percent from the field last season). He may be Minnesota's best defender in the back court after Ricky Rubio. While he's buried on the depth chart and will likely see limited minutes, he could carve out a regular role if he shines on defense.

2011-12

Lee was taken by Chicago in the second round (43rd overall) in the 2011 draft and then traded to Minnesota. The Timberwolves think so highly of him that they signed him to a guaranteed contract, which is rare for a second-round pick. He can run the floor well and plays good defense, but he needs to improve his shooting. He'll likely come along slowly, but he could surprise since Minnesota has minutes in the rotation up for grabs.
