Miami general manager Pat Riley denied a report that Jordan has been working out and may try to play for the Heat. "If Michael Jordan ever called me I would take his call out of absolute respect, but that hasn’t happened," Riley told the Palm Beach Post.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson may consider asking Jordan to join Los Angeles if Kobe Bryant is unable to complete the season due to legal issues. "It has crossed my mind," Jackson told the Chicago Tribune. "But I don't think I'd ask Michael that question until it became absolutely necessary or it became a reality. It's just speculation."
After a meeting on Tuesday between Jordan and team owner Abe Pollin, the Wizards have decided to cut their ties with M.J., the Associated Press reports.
