Eric Piatkowski

Piatkowski, who was acquired for Dikembe Mutombo, will once again see sporadic minutes off the bench backing up shooting guard and small forward. He is relied on to provide leadership and some outside scoring to the Bulls’ but will only play 10-12 minutes a night, making him not worthy of a roster spot from a fantasy standpoint.

Piatkowski was acquired for Dikembe Mutombo to provide some outside scoring and a big guard to the Bulls’ mix. He will back up Ben Gordon at shooting guard and see some minutes at small forward as well. Don’t look for him to play big minutes, but 20-25 minutes per game off the bench seems to be a reasonable target. He should get close to 10 points a night with a decent amount of three-pointers mixed in. If the young players on the Bulls mature quicker than expected, Piatkowski will probably be the odd-man out.

Piatkowski will fill in off the bench at shooting guard and small forward, providing the Rockets with another long-range option. With Glen Rice and Adrian Griffin around as well as Cuttino Mobley at the two, we don't see Piatkowski playing more than 20 minutes per game at most.
