ANALYSIS
He was a long shot to make the roster, but this indicates the T-Wolves are happy begging the season with Sebastian Telfair as the backup point guard.

Minnesota needs a third point guard on the roster, and Hart could fill the veteran backup role. He's unlikely to get significant minutes if he wins a spot on the roster.
Hart’s a good playmaker who keeps the turnovers down and plays some defense, but will be the third point guard off the bench in Los Angeles. With an injury risk like Jason Williams ahead of him, Hart could gain a bigger role with the team.
Hart brings quality depth to the point guard position. He played extremely well late last season for the Clippers. In 22 starts he averaged nine points, four assists and almost two steals per game. Hart's main role will be the run the offense while Williams rests, and he is very capable given his almost 3-to-1 career assist to turnover ratio.
Hart's only objectives this season will be to prevent turnovers and find the open man any time he gets the opportunity to get some playing time. In his five-year career he has already played for four different teams, indicating that he will be stuck as a backup throughout the remainder of his career. Even if Mike Bibby were to go down with an injury, Hart's fantasy value is limited, considering his skills and the skills of the players around him.
Hart is a great pickup for the Kings, and while he won't replace former sixth man Jackson's energy and scoring punch off the bench, he will prove more than adequate. He is a solid young point guard who makes smart decisions and takes care of the ball. This was evidenced by his assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.6, good for No. 3 in the NBA, and his steals per turnover ratio, 0.97, good for eighth in the league. Hart will back up Bibby and is a possible deep fantasy sleeper if Bibby gets hurt.
