Quincy Ford

The Jazz signed Ford shortly after the 6-foot-8 forward went undrafted in June, assigning him to their summer league squad. In eight games with the summer club, the Northeastern product averaged 5.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 19.0 minutes per game. The high-motor Ford is expected to bring intensity to training camp in the fall, but making the roster might prove to be a fruitless endeavor. The Jazz already have five wing players on hand with guaranteed contracts and another on a non-guaranteed deal who suited up in 70 games last season (Chris Johnson), meaning Ford finds himself on the outside looking in.
