Floyd, who appeared in one game last season after going under the knife in mid-September to clean up his knee, is not back to full speed. "He's trying to get healthy. He's got this thing with his leg. I don't know if I should get too specific with it," head coach Mike Zimmer told a local radio station as conveyed by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "We're just waiting for it to get healthy and if that's the case then I think he can have a good year."

2017

Subscribe now to see our 2017 outlook.

2016

Floyd's 2015 production was hampered due to a nagging knee injury that kept him out for three games, and left him at less than 100 percent for several others. He still managed to record 34 tackles and 2.5 sacks as a starting defensive tackle on a stout, young defense in Minnesota. He projects to have a similar role in 2016, but could see an improvement in tackle numbers given he's able to stay healthy.

2015

Floyd is a starting defensive tackle who has become an impact player against the run while improving as a pass rusher. Floyd nearly doubled his sack total last season with 4.5 sacks. It's possible he could take a big leap in his third season.

2014

Floyd's rookie season was a mild disappointment as the 2013 first-round draft pick came off the bench and had just 19 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He'll be thrust into a starting role at defensive tackle this season with the many changes on Minnesota's defensive line. The Vikings will be counting on him as a key run stuffer who can also make an occasional impact as a pass rusher.

2013

Minnesota got a steal in Floyd with the 23rd overall pick in this year's draft. He may contend to start in Week 1 and could provide immediate production as a DL4 upside pick in most IDP leagues.
