Closer Watch

Cincinnati - Francisco Cordero allowed three hits, two walks and three runs Friday against the Brewers for his second straight blown save. It might take a few more flops for Cordero to really be on the hot seat, but Aroldis Chapman is lurking in the background.

Arizona - David Hernadez retired Matt Holliday, Colby Rasmus and Jon Jay in a no-hit ninth inning Friday to tally his fifth July save. However, he will not be able to fend off J.J. Putz once the latter returns from the disabled list shortly after the All-Star break.

Los Angeles (N) - Javy Guerra picked up his third save of the year Friday, and he continues to see save chances out of the Dodgers' bullpen

Key Matchups

Emilio Bonifacio, OF, FLA - Remember when Bonifacio excited the fantasy world in 2009 with a three-steal Opening Day? Well it looks new/interim Marlins skipper Jack McKeon has taken a shine to Bonifacio (who became a father Friday), and he has taken over the team's leadoff role. He entered action Saturday on a 10-game hit streak (15-for-40) with seven steals over that stretch. He has also been something of a defensive jigsaw for the Marlins, logging significant time in the outfield, shortstop and third base, hence he can help fantasy owners who are smarting from the loss of Alex Rodriguez or Chipper Jones.
