Closer Watch – A closer look at intriguing ninth-inning situations (also check out our Closer Grid)
Oakland - Andrew Bailey threw a perfect seventh inning after being activated before Sunday's game. When healthy, Bailey is one of the better closers out there. Those in leagues with weekly lineups should still have him in there Monday in hopes that he will be closing again by the end of the week.
Toronto - Frank Francisco blew another save Saturday. That's two blown saves and two losses in his last four appearances, so the Jays may look to Jon Rausch next time out. Octavio Dotel also gave up a run, his coming in the eighth inning.
Texas - Nothing to worry about here, Neftali Feliz owners. Yoshinori Tateyama's save Saturday was of the three-inning variety.

Recommended Pickup
Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C, Red Sox - Salty endured a brutal April (.216, 0 HR) in which he lost a lot of at-bats to Jason Varitek, but his power has returned in May (4 HR), and it looks like he is getting a bump in playing time to boot. Believe it or not, it has been four years since Saltalamacchia filled in for an injured Brian McCann in Atlanta and hit .284 over 47 games. He has done little else at the MLB level to make one believe he is capable of getting back to that level of play, but four home runs in his last eight games is a good step in the right direction.
