May not return to WNBA in 2019
CDallas Wings
August 15, 2018
Cambage noted that she may not return to the WNBA in 2019, possibly opting to play overseas again, Sean Hurd of ESPN reports. "[The WNBA] doesn't pay my bills," Cambage said.
ANALYSIS
Cambage debuted in the WNBA during the 2013 campaign, but opted to play overseas instead until this season. In her return to the league, she's in the midst of an MVP-caliber season, averaging 22.8 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 blocks. She also set the single-game scoring record at 53 points. Once the 2018 campaign comes to a close, she'll represent her home country of Australia during the FIBA World Cup, and then begin another season in China. When asked about her future in the WNBA, Cambage noted playing in the league long-term is not her intention. "I'm ready to have next summer off and focus on getting a European contract where its 10 seasons here worth the pay. It sucks because I love to be here...[but] I really don't get paid enough to be beaten up every game. I'm not a WWE wrestler and that's how it feels sometimes out on the court."

Will play, start Tuesday
CDallas Wings
August 14, 2018
Cambage (head) will play and start Tuesday's game against the Sun, Sean Hurd of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Cambage has missed the last two games with a head injury, but with the Wings battling for one of the final playoff spots, she'll return to the court and attempt to play through any lingering issues. Considering Cambage owns averages of 23.0 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 blocks on the season, she'll immediately be on the radar as a potential DFS option. Her placement in the starting lineup is also encouraging that the tentative plan is to give her as much run as she feels comfortable with.
