Sunday usually means watching baseball knowing that the weekend is coming to a close. However, since Labor Day is Monday, you can take the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the 15 MLB games. You can also play some daily fantasy baseball while you're relaxing, and here are some recommendations. The first game starts at 1:05 PM ET.
STARTING PITCHER
Kyle Freeland, COL at SD ($45): Freeland has been incredibly impressive in his home ballpark – the offense-friendly Coors Field – but even he can benefit from pitching at Petco Park. He boasts a 2.90 ERA, while the Padres sit 27th in runs scored and come in with a team .297 OBP.
Lance Lynn, NYY vs. DET ($35): Lynn has been a different pitcher with the Yankees. Since being traded, he has a 2.06 FIP and has struck out 10.80 batters per nine innings. Even including his struggles with the Twins, his home ERA still registers at 3.10. As for the Tigers, they have been slightly worse than the Padres offensively, which is to say they rank 28th in runs scored.

CATCHER
Danny Jansen, TOR at MIA ($12): Jansen was hitting quite well in Triple-A, with a .863 OPS in 88 games, and has been impressive since getting called up by the Blue Jays. We don't know what he will be in the long-term, but the promise he's shown so far is intriguing from a fantasy perspective. Pablo Lopez has been less formidable in his debut season, as the Marlins pitcher has posted a 4.53 FIP in 10 starts.
FIRST BASE
Matt Olson, OAK vs. SEA ($17): Olson has hit 24 homers in 137 games, which isn't as impressive as when he hit 24 in only 59 games last year, but still shows his power potential. He's also smashed half his homers at home the last two seasons, so hitting in Oakland hasn't held him back. However, the truly enticing thing about Olson on Sunday is his matchup with Felix Hernandez. King Felix has struggled to a 5.49 ERA, but on the road that number rises to 7.46.
SECOND BASE
Ian Kinsler, BOS at CWS ($14): Kinsler started the season off slow, but he has a .370/.433/.444 slash line over his last 30 games. He just hit his first homer with the Red Sox on Saturday, and he could add to that in this matchup. James Shields, who enters with a 4.90 FIP, has allowed 1.38 homers per nine innings. That's actually an improvement for him, as he allowed 1.78 home runs over his previous three seasons.
THIRD BASE
Todd Frazier, NYM at SF ($17): Frazier has never been a standout from a batting average perspective, but that's mostly because he's struggled against lefties. Against right-handed pitchers this season, he sports a .252 batting average. He's also never had an issue showing power, with 16 homers in 89 games this year. Chris Stratton is a pitcher who is actually worse at home, with a 6.09 ERA in his own ballpark in 2018.
SHORTSTOP
Jorge Polanco, MIN at TEX ($18): Polanco's numbers are weighed down by struggles against lefties, but he's had no such issues against righties. He's also hit better on the road, and Texas is generally a favorable ballpark to pitchers. The 45-year-old Bartolo Colon – who is a righty – is coming off the disabled list to start this game with a 5.45 ERA, allowing 1.86 homers per nine innings.
OUTFIELD
Jose Martinez, STL vs. CIN ($17): Martinez has been red hot recently, with has a .381/.434/.536 slash line over his last 30 games. Now that he's done it for two seasons, it seems clear the 30-year-old can be a reliable bat with a bit of power. He could definitely show that power Sunday, as Anthony DeSclafani has given up 1.86 home runs per nine innings.
Gregory Polanco, PIT at ATL ($16): Polanco is showing the most power in his career this season. He has a personal best .490 slugging percentage and has hit 22 homers in 125 games while also stealing 10 bases. Julio Teheran enters with a career 4.15 FIP, but this year he's scuffled to the tune of a 5.04 FIP.
Adam Eaton, WAS vs. MIL ($16): Eaton has averaged 6.1 fantasy points per game in limited action, thanks in part to five homers and six stolen bases in 74 games. He's had some issues with lefties, but that won't be a problem with Junior Guerra on the mound. Speaking of Guerra, the Brewers starter has slumped to a 5.76 ERA away from home after posting a 6.68 road ERA last season.
