Pitcher
Rich Hill, LAD vs AZ ($44): The concern with Hill this season has been his durability, but after consecutive outings where he's finished the seventh inning, those concerns can be laid to rest for a while. Hill was very impressive in his most recent outing, going seven innings while striking out 11 batters and allowing zero runs. He'll have a chance at another strong showing against the Diamondbacks, who enter with the third lowest wOBA and seventh highest K rate against lefties this season.
Chris Sale, BOS at TB ($66): The Tampa Bay Rays can certainly put up plenty of runs, but it's their K rate against lefties that makes this pick easy. Sale is not a lock at his current price and if there were issues with the matchup, I certainly wouldn't pull the trigger on him, but with the Rays holding the second highest K rate against lefties this season I have to imagine Sale will get his points, even if he gives up a few runs. Sale has recorded double-digit strikeouts in three of his past four starts and the one start in which he failed to get to double digits, he recorded nine strikeouts.

CATCHER
Buster Posey, SF at DET ($18): I'm generally not fond of paying up for catchers, but considering Posey is reasonably priced, he's a quality option. The reason to pay up for Posey is the matchup with Anibal Sanchez. Sanchez enters with a 6.34 ERA and although he's avoided blowups for the most part, that's mainly due to the Tigers being very careful with him. Posey has been better against lefties than righties this season, but he still has a healthy wOBA of .370 against righties this season.
FIRST BASE
Matt Carpenter, STL vs MIA ($21): Tom Koehler enters with a 8.33 ERA through nine starts this season and he's been particularly bad in his two most recent starts. In those starts, Koehler has surrendered 15 runs in 4.2 innings. With that in mind, the Cardinals are one of the better stacks on this slate and Carpenter is at the top of that stack. Carpenter enters with a .377 wOBA this season against righties.
SECOND BASE
Jose Pirela, SD at CLE ($16): Since his call-up in early June, Pirela has done everything the Padres could have asked and more. Through 24 games, Pirela is averaging 7.3 points per game and he's solidified his spot at the top of the lineup. He'll face Josh Tomlin, who enters with a 6.17 ERA and has been terrible in his past four starts, allowing four or more runs in each. The Padres simply don't have the firepower for a full stack, but Pirela is still a good option.
THIRD BASE
Jedd Gyorko, STL vs MIA ($19): Gyorko has been held out of action the last two days because of a groin strain, but he'll want to get back for this matchup against Koehler. As mentioned earlier, Koehler has been bad all season and terrible lately. Gyorko enters with the second best wOBA against righties this season and he sits in a prime spot in the lineup to rack up major points against Koehler.
SHORTSTOP
Zack Cozart, CIN at COL ($21): This slate is surprisingly thin at SS when looking at matchups alone; however, Cozart has been fairly matchup proof all season. The Rockies send Tyler Chatwood to the mound and although his season numbers are fairly strong, his two most recent outings have been a little rough. Cozart has been incredible against lefties this season, but he's been good against righties also, posting a .380 wOBA against righties this season.
OUTFIELD
Charlie Blackmon, COL vs CIN ($23): Believe me when I say that Rockie fatigue has set in with me and I'm not fond of listing guys that haven't played well lately, but if they are playing at Coors Field and there's an inexperienced pitcher on the mound, I need to at least mention it. Blackmon played extremely well early in the season, but his play has dipped lately. With that said, he's still at the top of the lineup and he still has solid numbers on the season. He enters with a .396 wOBA against righties this season and the Rockies face righty Sal Romano.
Daniel Nava, PHI vs PIT ($7): Chad Kuhl takes the mound for the Pirates and while he's been pitching better than he did early in the season, he's still having trouble with lefties. Nava doesn't play everyday, but he'll get the nod against most righties because he hits them well and should be starting against Kuhl. Nava enters with a .409 wOBA against righties this season, which is tops on the Phillies.
Max Kepler, MN vs BAL ($13): For much of the season, Dylan Bundy was the only Oriole starter that seemed remotely competent, but after allowing five runs in just four innings in his most recent start, Bundy joined the rest of the staff with an ERA over 4.00. He has actually been on the decline over his past four starts, having surrendered four or more runs in three of his past four starts. Kepler sits just behind teammate Miguel Sano with a .376 wOBA against righties this season.
