FantasyDraft MLB: Wednesday Values

This article is part of our FantasyDraft MLB series.

Pitcher

Carlos Carrasco, CLE vs LAA ($21,300) – Carrasco has recorded seven or more strikeouts in seven of his past eight starts and he's allowed two runs or less in five of his past seven. The Angels enter with the second-lowest wOBA against righties this season.

Chris Sale, BOS at SEA ($26,100) -- Sale has been sharp lately with nine or more strikeouts in all of his past seven starts, and he's allowed one run or less in five of his past seven. Seattle has been mediocre against lefties this season, ranking 14th in wOBA.

INFIELD

Paul Goldschmidt, AZ vs ATL ($10,400)Aaron Blair makes his season debut for the Braves, and if he pitches anything like last year, the Diamondbacks are going to put up some big numbers today. The Diamondbacks look like one of the better stacks on this slate and as always, their stack should include Goldy. Goldschmidt enters with a .435 wOBA against righties this season, good for sixth in the majors.

Kris Bryant, CHC at CHW ($10,400) – The Cubs look like the best stack on the night card against James Shields, and Bryant is at the forefront. He enters with a .377 wOBA against righties this season.

Mike Moustakas, KC at DET ($8,100) – Outside of Jose Altuve, Moustakas might be the hottest hitter in the majors right now. He's been particularly hot lately, with four home runs in his last four games and as expected, most of his production has come against righties (.368 wOBA ) The Royals will face righty Anibal Sanchez, who enters with a 5.95 ERA.

OUTFIELD

A.J. Pollock, AZ vs ATL ($10,800) – As mentioned earlier, with Blair on the mound for Atlanta, the Diamondbacks are a great stack, and with Pollock now healthy, he's one of the top-three options on the team. Pollock enters with a .386 wOBA against righties this season.

Mookie Betts, BOS at SEA ($9,600)Andrew Moore posted quality starts in his first three outings this season, but in his first two since the break, he's allowed 10 runs in just nine innings. The funny thing is, even though the Red Sox have a lot of big names in their lineup, they don't have good numbers against righties. The one exception is Betts, who enters with a .344 wOBA against righties this season.

Jon Jay, CHC at CHW ($6,300) – With a righty on the mound, Jay could get the start tonight and if he does, he'll make for a nice piece of a Cubs stack at this price. As mentioned earlier, the Cubs are a great stack on this slate because Shields has been terrible lately, surrendering six or more runs in three of his past five starts. Jay enters with a .346 wOBA against righties this season.

UTILITY

Ezequiel Carrera TOR vs OAK ($6,300) – Carrera is a low-cost option with some nice upside...if he plays. With a righty on the mound for Oakland, there is a good chance that Carrera will get a spot start here, and if he does, he makes for a good play. Carrera enters with a .368 wOBA against righties this season. Oakland sends Paul Blackburn to the hill and while his ERA is a solid 2.88, he's struggled in his past two starts.

Michael Brantley, CLE vs LAA ($9,200) – This last pick came down to Brantley or Jose Ramirez, as I wanted to get a piece of the Indians with Ricky Nolasco on the mound. Nolasco has allowed six or more runs in two of his past three outings, and the Indians as a whole are very good against righties. Ramirez has the higher wOBA against righties this season, but Brantley has been the better hitter lately. Brantley also enters with a solid .370 wOBA against right-handers.
