Reds manager David Bell said Senzel (groin) checked out fine during a workout Sunday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Bell expects Senzel to return to the lineup Tuesday against the Royals.
Gray (3-0) was charged with two runs (one earned) on four hits over six innings in a win over Cleveland on Monday. He struck out eight and issued two walks.

Lucas Sims: Bullpen bright spot

Though the Reds' bullpen has really struggled, Sims has started well, throwing 3.1 scoreless innings, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out five.
Lorenzen allowed a two-run homer to Javier Baez in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs, giving him three homers allowed in three games. His ERA has now climbed to 16.88.
