With the Shockers' defense closing in on Grant, he instead focused his efforts on becoming a distributor, as every other Notre Dame starter was able to score in double figures. The 6-5 guard tallied 11 of the team's 18 total dimes, matching his second best assist total of the 2014-15 season. It was the first time in the last 12 contests that Grant was limited to single-digit scoring, however, as the team leader averages 16.6 points per game. The senior will need another strong all-around performance if the Irish plan on challenging top-seeded Kentucky in the Elite Eight.
