Wilson injured his knee before halftime in the win over USC on Sunday, but returned to the game in the second half, the Gwinnett Prep Sports reports. He finished with 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two assists.

The Marquette transfer has been playing well as the starting point guard for the Aggies. In his last three games, he averaged 16.7 points on 58.1 percent from the field. Texas A&M has a number of players who can initiate the offense, so Wilson is often tasked with finishing things. He is averaging 11.7 points and 4.0 assists. If he can not go on Thursday against Texas-Rio Grande, the recently returned J.J. Caldwell would start.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wilson will join Texas A&M as a graduate transfer in 2017-18, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.

Wilson started 51 of his 95 career games over three seasons with Marquette, but most of those nods came in his first two years with the Golden Eagles, as he saw his playing time decrease in coach Steve Wojciechowski's rotation in 2016-17 with the emergence of freshman point guard Markus Howard. After contributing 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 16.4 minutes per game last season, Wilson should have an immediate opportunity to gain a more sizable role with the Aggies, where he'll reunite with former Marquette assistant Isaac Chew. With grad transfer J.C. Hampton moving on from Texas A&M, Wilson looks like the most experienced option the Aggies will have on hand to pair in the starting backcourt with junior Admon Gilder.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wilson will transfer away from Marquette for his senior season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Wilson saw a heavy decrease in playing time from his sophomore to junior year, going from 28.5 minutes to 16.4 per game. That likely prompted Wilson to evaluate his options elsewhere, so he's expected to look for a new program to attend for his final year of eligibility. Wilson is fully expected to graduate from Marquette, which means he'll be a graduate transfer and will be able to play immediately with a new team.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wilson helped a spirited comeback on Tuesday in the win over Villanova with 11 points (3-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with three rebounds.

Since returning from a groin injury, Wilson had averaged just 4.3 points in four games prior to Tuesday's big win. The Golden Eagles have won four of their last five games. Wilson has remained part of the Marquette rotation despite being relegated to a bench role and having his minutes nearly cut in half.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wilson returned from a two-game absence due to a groin injury and provided six points in 25 minutes in the overtime loss to Seton Hall on Wednesday.

Wilson has had a quiet season and came into the game averaging just 5.7 points in 16.0 minutes. The junior is making 27.6 percent of his 3-pointers and the Golden Eagles have a deep backcourt. The 6-2 junior could still play a part for the Golden Eagles and is a fine perimeter defender.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wilson (groin) is in uniform and expected to play Wednesday against Seton Hall, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Wilson will go through warmups to test out his injury one last time, but provided that he's able to do so without a hitch, he'll be ready to play Wednesday. He was averaging 4.6 points and 1.4 rebounds over 15.6 minutes off the bench over his last five games prior to suffering the groin injury. He'll likely be used in a reserve role off the bench Wednesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wilson (groin) participated in Tuesday's practice and is expected to play in Wednesday's game against Seton Hall, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Wilson has missed the previous two games with the groin injury, and barring any setbacks, he should be back in the lineup without any limitations. If Wilson is declared active, look for him to play his regular dose of 20 minutes against Seton Hall.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Wilson (groin) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Villanova, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Marquette's already difficult challenge in facing a Villanova team coming off a loss got even tougher Saturday with the news of Wilson's absence. Andrew Rowsey, Katin Reinhardt, and JaJuan Johnson should see the majority of the backcourt minutes for the Golden Eagles against Villanova.
