Jackson verbally committed Thursday to transfer to McNeese State, VerbalCommits.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Jackson was one of several players to leave the Massachusetts program after the season concluded in March and will stick around in the Division I ranks to continue his career. He played a limited role for the Minutemen as a true freshman, averaging 1.5 points in 5.0 minutes per game over his 15 appearances. Jackson will have to sit out the 2020-21 season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules before debuting for McNeese State in 2021-22, when he would have three years of eligibility remaining.
