Spencer (shoulder) has begun participating in full-contact practice, James Crepea of AL.com reports.

Spencer was forced to miss the end of the 2016-17 season after undergoing shoulder surgery in February but has apparently progressed well enough to take part in full-contact practice this offseason. He'll split time at power forward with Chuma Okeke and Desean Murray this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Spencer will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery Thursday, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

Spencer has been battling a shoulder injury for quite some time now, but after medical consultation the sophomore ultimately opted to shut it down for the rest of the year. During the 2016-17 campaign, Spencer averaged 4.8 PPG and 3.4 RPG. Senior forward LaRon Smith seems like the most likely replacement for Spencer moving forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Spencer (shoulder) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Ole Miss, Matthew Stevens of the Montgomery Advertiser reports.

Spencer will miss his third-straight contest due to a shoulder injury and could be in danger of missing an extended period of time, as the team has yet to release any sort of timetable. His next chance to play will be Tuesday against Florida. Expect LaRon Smith and Anfernee McLemore to see increased minutes Saturday in Spencer's absence.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Spencer (shoulder) is set to undergo further testing Wednesday after undergoing an MRI earlier in the week, Brandon Marcello of 247 Sports reports. "It's going to get read again [Wednesday]. He's got something going on in there but we don't know what it is," said coach Bruce Pearl after Tuesday's game against Mississippi State.

Spencer sat out for the second straight game Tuesday due to his shoulder injury and now it appears that he'll need a second opinion on his MRI at the very least. While this sounds concerning, it's still too early to tell the severity of Spencer's injury. If he does have to miss significant time, Auburn will have one less viable bench option in the front court to pair with either Danjel Purifoy or Austin Wiley.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Spencer (shoulder) will not play in Tuesday's game against Mississippi State, Bryan Matthews of Rivals.com reports.

This will be the second straight games Spencer misses with the shoulder injury, and there is still no timetable for his return. His next opportunity to see the court will come Saturday against Ole Miss, but in his absence, look for Anfernee McLemore to continue to see some added minutes.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Spencer (shoulder) did not travel with the team to Alabama, Lauren Shute of SEC Country reports.

Spencer had suffered a shoulder injury in Tuesday's loss to Tennessee. With him out of the contest, expect Anfernee McLemore to get some added minutes. Spencer's next opportunity to see the court will come on Feb. 7 against Mississippi State.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Spencer is considered questionable for Saturday's game against Alabama due to a shoulder injury, Wesley Sinor of AL.com reports.

The sophomore exited Tuesday's loss to Tennessee with a shoulder injury, but was expected to practice in a limited fashion as of Friday. If he's ultimately unable to play, Danjel Purifoy and Austin Wiley should see most of the minutes in the Tigers' frontcourt against the Tide.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Spencer was forced from Tuesday's game against Tennessee with a left shoulder injury, James Crepea of AL.com reports.

The severity of Spencer's injury remains unclear, but it was giving him enough discomfort that he was pulled from Tuesday's contest in the second half. He'll likely undergo additional testing after the game, which should give us a better indication on how long it could keep him sidelined. For now, tentatively consider him questionable for Saturday's game against Alabama.
