Heading to Florida Gulf Coast
Casimir has committed to play at Florida Gulf Coast as a grad transfer, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Casimir has yet to repeat his excellent freshman season when he averaged 14.5 points per contest and started all 35 of Iona's games, but he'll have one more year to try and rediscover his form with Florida Gulf Coast. In his two full seasons since his freshman campaign, he has averaged 7.0 points while starting in eight of 34 games and is coming off a year in which he started in 22 of 33 games while averaging 10.4 points. As a grad transfer, he will be eligible to play immediately and seems to be in line to be immediately inserted into the starting lineup.
