Voluntarily leaving team

March 1, 2019
Cannady is voluntarily leaving the team and will not play again this year, Jack Graham of the Daily Princetonian reports.
ANALYSIS
Cannady's absence comes about a month after he was suspended for three games for allegedly attempting to punch a police officer, but it's unknown at this time if his current absence is related to that matter. The senior himself hasn't spoken as to why he's leaving, but the school put out a statement saying, "Devin Cannady has decided to take a voluntary leave of absence from school to attend to a personal matter and, consequently, will not be playing basketball for the remainder of the season. He has our full support." Princeton is losing their leading scorer this year at 18.2. points per game and Cannady's collegiate career will come to a close.
