Commits to Utah State

June 17, 2019
Utah State announced Friday that Anthony joined the program as a transfer from Virginia.
ANALYSIS
Anthony played a bit role for Virginia in their run to the national championship, appearing in 22 games during his sophomore season and averaging 1.2 points in 5.4 minutes per contest. The 6-foot-4 guard will fill Utah State's final scholarship spot for 2019-20, but he won't be availability to play until 2020-21 due to NCAA transfer rules. He'll have two years of eligibility left beginning in 2020-21 and should have a legitimate chance to start and play major minutes for the Aggies as a redshirt junior.
