Edwards will enroll at UTEP ahead of the 2019-20 campaign and will be immediately eligible to play for the Miners, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports
Edwards was deemed ineligible to play for Fresno State this season but was apparently able to secure his undergraduate degree at some point in the past several months. He'll thus be able to contribute right away for UTEP as a graduate transfer for what will be the fourth Division I stop of his career. Edwards began his career in the JUCO ranks at Northwest Florida State College, playing two seasons for the school before landing at LSU in 2017-18. He then appeared in 39 games for the Tigers across two seasons before moving on to Nevada and then Fresno State, never playing for either of the two programs. Look for Edwards to contend for a starting role at shooting guard in his fifth and final year of eligibility.
