July 21, 2019
Mayen (knee) has left the TCU basketball program to pursue other opportunities, Drew Davison of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
ANALYSIS
Mayen saw his freshman season cut short due to a knee injury after just 17 games. It's unclear if he's going to transfer or look to turn pro, possibly heading overseas with his cousin Kouat Noi. While the move was necessary to get TCU back under their scholarship limit, it will leave them with a severe lack of depth in the frontcourt heading into the season.
